Welcome Mrs. Tomek

There have been some exciting changes in the Youth Services area of the Amherst Public Library! New books, new displays, new furniture and new tablets. Another new arrival is me, Nancy Tomek. I am thrilled to be an addition to the staff family at your library. I live in Avon with my husband and adorable mutt, Kahlua. Our two grown children live out of town. I spent over 12 years at the Avon Public Library and 10 years as a school librarian.

Please introduce yourself when you are visiting Youth Services. I look forward to getting to know each of you and this wonderful community.

Flash Mob Lego

Join us on Wednesday, March 29th 11 a.m. to noon, for Flash Mob Lego.  Recommended for grades K - 6, kids must be able to work independently as no adults will be allowed into the program.  Drop in and use the library's Legos to build a creation that we can photograph for a display.
