Merry Christmas to all...

Warm wishes go out to all the wonderful patrons, kids and families that have attended storytime, special programs, and simply trusted us throughout the year to provide great materials for your learning and enjoyment.

We take pride in making this a great place to visit and thank you for taking the time to stop by, bring your kids, and include books and reading as a part of your family life. Your support makes our work all the more fulfilling, and we can't tell you how much we appreciate it

We wish you and your loved ones a wonderful holiday season and a new year filled with the joy of reading and learning.

Ho ho ho....

 Tea Time at the Library

If the popular British period television drama is your cup of tea, you are in for a treat when the Amherst Public Library hosts a Downton Abbey Tea Party on Sunday, January 3 from 2 - 4 p.m.

Join us in the library's DeLloyd Room for tea, trivia, and a short video presentation highlighting the sixth and final season of the Popular PBS television series.

Participants are invited to bring their favorite tea cup to use (and show off).  Millinery and attire from the era is optional, but highly encouraged.

The library has the first five seasons on DVD in its collection as will as books about the making of the series, the customs of the era, and Highclere Castle, where the series is filmed.

This event is free but registration is required and can be completed by phone or online.
