Web Printing

The Amherst Public Library’s Web Printing service allows you to send print jobs to the library from your Internet connected device.  Prints cost $.10 per page and are paid for and picked up at the copy machine located on the first floor of the library.

You can print to the library from your Internet connected device using three methods:

Online

  • Click here to get started from your Internet connected device.
  • Enter your email address.
  • Select a file to print or enter the address of a web page to print.
  • Click on the arrow button to continue.
  • Select the page range and the number of copies for your print job.
  • Click on the arrow button to continue.
  • The system will show you the number of pages and the cost for your job.
  • Click on the green print button to approve and submit your job.
  • The system will show you a job reference number and privacy release code.  You will also receive an email containing this information.
  • Enter your privacy release code at the PrinterOn keypad located next to the downstairs copy machine to pick up your print job.

Email

  • To print an email message or attachment, send a message to amherst-public-library@printspots.com.
  • You will receive a reply with a privacy release code.
  • Enter your privacy release code at the PrinterOn keypad located next to the downstairs copy machine to pick up your print job.

App

  • Get the PrinterOn app for your mobile device or the PrintWhere Driver for your Windows computer.
  • Install the app to your device.
  • Follow the app’s instructions to find the Amherst Public Library’s  printer from the list of available printers.
  • Follow the app’s  instructions to print.
  • Enter your privacy release code at the PrinterOn keypad located next to the downstairs copy machine to pick up your print job.


You must have your privacy release code and cash in order to pick up your prints.
