The History of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, the culmination of a 14-year race for the moon between the Soviet Union and the United States. Commemorate this incredible achievement with the Amherst Public Library! Join Eric Rivet, Chief Curator of the Western Reserve Historical Society, on Thursday, July 11 at 6:30 p.m. for a discussion of why we went to the moon, how we got there, and what it meant to the world at large.

No registration is required. For more information, call the library at (440)988-4230.
