Chef Giulia returns to the Amherst Public Library on Thursday, July 12th at 6:00 p.m. for her second summer cooking demonstration. Are you interested in trying new fruits and vegetables but not sure how to prepare the less familiar items found at our local farmers’ markets? Do you occasionally buy larger quantities than you can eat in a few days? “Eating in Season from the Farmer’s Market” will provide ideas for combining locally-available seasonal ingredients into delicious dishes to eat right away as well as simple ways to conserve the bounty to enjoy later. Strategies for pre-market planning to make the most of your trip and optimal storage to make the most of your purchases will be provided.
