Celebrate the Cleveland Indians opening week at the Amherst Public Library on Thursday, April 13th at 6:30 p.m. with Scott Longert, the author of No Money, No Beer, No Pennants: The Cleveland Indians and Baseball in the Great Depression. Mr. Longert will draw on his research as he discusses the fortunes of the Cleveland Indians during one of the worst economic times in American history. Copies of Mr. Longert’s books will be available to purchase for $20 following the program.
